Additional Details:
Address: Tree of Life Farm is located in Ravenna, Texas, and participants will receive the address in an e-mail confirmation once you place your order.
Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor activities, as we’ll be walking through the property and having presentations in our "Sage Cottage", which does not have any utilities hooked up yet. Bring layers in case the weather changes.
Bathrooms: Please note that Tree of Life Farm does not currently have indoor bathroom facilities available. However, we are excited to offer eco-friendly, compostable toilets located on the property. These sustainable restrooms are designed to minimize our environmental impact while ensuring a practical solution during your visit. We are also pleased to share that we are in the process of constructing our third building on the farm, "Sage Cottage", which will feature an indoor bathroom for future gatherings and events. The funds generated through this course will directly support the completion of "Sage Cottage" and help us continue to improve the amenities and experiences we offer to our community. We truly appreciate your understanding and support as we work toward enhancing the farm’s infrastructure in alignment with our sustainability and community-focused values.
Presentations: Presentations will be held in our "Sage Cottage", which is the third building on the property that we are developing with the funds generated through the revenue from this course. Currently, the building stands as a shell with the hope of finishing it out to serve multiple purposes for future retreats and gatherings.
Food: Please bring enough food for you and your party for the extent of your stay. We will be having a Brunch Potluck and encourage participants to bring something to share with others from our diverse community. At Tree of Life Farm, we consider ourselves a sanctuary for all living beings, and as part of our commitment to compassion and sustainability, we encourage vegan or vegetarian inspired dishes.
Camping: Camping is available and included in the cost to attend the Morel Festival. Please come prepared for the duration of your stay.
Dogs: Tree of Life Farm is a permaculture farm with ducks and goats that roam around foraging. Dogs will be allowed but asked to remain on a leash and under control at all times.
Bring a Chair: We encourage you to bring a portable chair to make yourself comfortable during our presentations, as well as a journal or something to take notes with during sessions and document any important information during the day.
Water & Hydration: Stay hydrated especially during outdoor activities. Potable water and hot tea will be provided by Tree of Life Farm.
